What to Expect

Your Invited!

It is our earnest desire that your first visit to Mount Carmel Tabernacle is positive, encouraging, and life-impacting.  To that end, we'd like to give you a quick summary of what you may expect when you stop by.

What to wear

Our church family comes together with no formal dress code.  Some enjoy the opportunity to dress up formally while others prefer the comfort of the casual clothes they wear every day.  You are welcome to come as you are and be comfortable.  We would simply ask that your attire be respectful as we are in God' s house.

Service times

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30am every week.  We also have a Wednesday night Bible Study each week (with the exception of the last Wednesday of the month) at 5:30pm in the fellowship building.

Upon Arrival

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up.  Do expect to be greeted by people in our congregation who are happy that you are with us.  We understand many people want to check out the church and that's fine with us.  We've all been there.  Our restrooms are located in the foyer just as you enter the building.

The Service

We normally start the service with an opening song, followed by a short time of greeting.  After that- announcements, offering, and prayer follow.  We then have a time of worship followed by the message.  At Mount Carmel we are blessed to have one of the most anointed and dynamic preaching ministries in the tri-city area.  Pastor Dana Lewis preaches directly from the Word of God with excitement, passion, conviction, and boldness.  We promise you will not be bored!

The Kids

Children and teens love to hear Pastor Dana preach.  Bring them with you and watch them smile.
